How To Embed Google Maps into Your Website

• Step 1: Visit Google Maps via https://www.google.co.uk/maps 
  • 1.1: Select your desired location by searching for it on the map or typing into the search box.
  • 1.2: Once you have selected your location, click on the 'SHARE' button highlighted below.

• Step 2: Select the 'Embed a Map' button highlighted below.

• Step 3: Click on the button highlighted below next to the word 'Medium', this will allow you to change the size of the map you wish to embed, we recommend using your own custom size.

• Step 4: Select 'Custom Size'

• Step 5: Input your desired size using the width and height boxes shown below, you can select the button 'Preview Actual Size' to be shown an example of what size that will be.
  • Once you have decided on a size, highlight the text that starts '<iframe' and Copy it using your computers copy function. 
  • Alternatively you can select the button 'Copy HTML' 

• Step 6: Select the '<>' button highlighted below. The box that appears next is where you will copy in the Map code.

• Step 7: Paste in the code you copied from Google Maps. 
  • Click 'OK' 

• Step 8: You should now be seeing the map within the content box, if all looks good to you then complete this process by selecting the 'Save and Publish' button highlighted below.
