How to Create a Document Table

  • Step 1: Upload your documents in the same way you would an image, regardless of whether it is a PDF, Excel, Word Doc etc. 
    • Click 'Uploads'
    • Click 'Add New'
    • Enter a name for your document - THIS WILL BE THE NAME AS IT APPEARS IN THE DOCUMENT TABLE.

  • Step 2: Once all your documents intended for the document table have been uploaded, you can proceed to creating the table it will be in, multiple tables could be in the same place, creating a document library organised however you want it.
    • Click 'Plugin'
    • Click 'Downloads Table' from the dropdown.

  • Step 3: To create the download table you will be using, click 'Add New'
    • To edit a download table that already exists, click on the pencil icon on the left.

  • Step 4: Give your downloads table a name, click 'Add+' if you would like to save that and also create a new table, or 'Add then Return' to progress and edit the table.

  • Step 5: To input the documents you have already uploaded to the downloads table, click the button 'Download Editor' as highlighted below.

  • Step 6: To add the documents to the table, click 'Add New' as is highlighted below.

  • Step 7: You will now be able to add the documents you have uploaded to the document table, select the chosen file by clicking 'Choose' and proceeding to click your chosen file. 
    • Click 'Add+' if you wish to add more documents to this table.
    • Click 'Add then Return' if you are finished adding documents.

  • Step 8: Now that your document table has been created, go to the page you wish to display it on. 
    • Click into the text box to make the toolkit appear.
    • Click 'Plugins'
    • In the drop down menu select 'Downloads Table'
    • Click on your selected document table, you will see the plugin icon on the page. This means that it has worked.
    • Save and Publish that page to see your document table.

In order to create a Document Library with multiple sections, you would simply repeat the process for each section and put them all on the same page.
